Voting: In Georgia and Elsewhere, Get Out and Vote!

I’ve been watching the governor’s race in Georgia with particular interest, given my own focus as a novelist. Recently Stacey Adams spoke to a crowd in Atlanta, reminding them of her opponent Brian Kemp’s views on democracy. Kemp is the current secretary of state; his actions in restricting the vote in Georgia are well-known.

Abrams told them, “He said that he is concerned if everyone eligible to vote in Georgia does so, he will lose the election.” She added, “Let’s prove him right.”
